Iowa Sales Tax Exemption Certificate
A sales tax exemption certificate can be used by businesses (or in some cases, individuals) who are making purchases that are exempt from the Iowa sales tax. If you are purchasing goods in the state of Iowa and you are claiming tax-exempt status, you must complete this form and give it to the seller. The seller must keep the certificate as proof of sales tax exemption.
